    Great Purtchase!!
I was a little hesitant to purchase for home use. Thought maybe it was over kill. How I was wrong! It is so handy with its mobility and built in stand it is worth every penny. Funny to think back, second guessing if I should have bought a less expensive unit. I am glad I bought this, no regrets!!!

    Describe Yourself:
    Beginner- Casual Do-it-Yourselfer
    Versatility
I bought this model saw last year and I love it. The rolling stand is a nice touch. Less trips to the truck and easy to handle. I also like the feature where all the attachments are mounted under neath, and the quick release level to exchange from the pinch guard to the kick back guard with the available option to hook up a small shop vac hose. They debri basket is a nice add feature and very easy to access. Lastly the guard is the best feature of all with one knob to move the front and back of the guard gives you better precision ripping and cross cutting with the add push through arm with reaching distance and the add arm for wider cuts. Star for star I give it 5 stars

I love that fence goes out to 32”, making ripping plywood to 2’ super quick and easy. I’d highly recommend this saw to anyone who is low on space and yet still wants the power of a large stationary unit.

My only con is that you cannot buy it without the rolling stand since I didn’t need it.

Beside the 32 1/2" rip, it has all metal gears and components unlike the cheaper brands with plastic that don't hold up. This might be my favorite dewalt tool I own, and I have quite a few. Very happy with the saw.

I purchased two years ago and have no complaints at all. Has exceed my expectations for a portable table saw. I build dining tables out of my garage and when I am not building tables I have our vehicles parked in the garage. The saw folds up and has it's spot like all the other tools. Easy to setup and rip fence is accurate every time.

It’s a great job site portable table saw. I’m a DIYer. I don’t have the space for a large cabinet table saw. This saw performs great, user friendly, fairly accurate out of the box. I did use a dial indicator to make some very small adjustments but I found the fence to be dead on parallel to the miter slot. The stock blade isn’t horrible but I’ve been using Forrest blades for my finish wood cuts. Motor has plenty of power for cutting through thick hardwood. One of the selling points that lead me to saw was ability to use a dado set. Using a vacuum inserted in the saw I’d say it collects about 95% of the dust. The stand is excellent, provided I set the saw up on a smooth flat surface, I have a lot of confidence in the stability of the stand. I’m able to transport the saw easily from my garage to my backyard patio. Understanding that it is a portable saw there are 2 gripes: the miter gauge sticks out like a sore thumb by how poor it is relative to rest if the saw. I replaced the miter gauge with an Incra. The other gripe/suggestion would be wishing there was the option of buying a more robust fence, for purpose of being able to drill attachments onto it. In my case a JessEm clear cut stock guide. Thus far I have made many plywood/framing wood cuts. I have also used the saw for finish wood cuts. I have made a coffered ceiling and door jambs out of knotty alder and oak. Using feather boards I was able to get very good results. In 2019 I plan on using saw to install hardwood oak flooring and building a Murphy bed in the guest bedroom.

I see some low reviews on this product but I'll give my own interpretation. As a contractor for over 25 years I have a lot of different tools from different manufacturers but mostly Dewalt. With their service center upgrades, etc. they have always taken care of our needs and I've been on their new product review forums. This is a jobsite table saw. It's accuracy and function is great for that environment. If you need accuracy that warrants putting calipers or feeler gauges on the fence, miter, etc. you should buy a cabinet saw. We never use our jobsite table saw for miter cuts. That's what a miter box saw is used for but we may use our shop saw for miter cuts. Out of the box this saw at zero was off a little but was easily dialed in. I see some reviews talk about alignment issues of the stand on assembly. I had no problem putting this together in about 20 minutes with all holes aligning correctly. Do yourself a favor though and get your own 1/2" socket and box end wrench to assemble it. I see they've elongated the holes so maybe the older ones had an issue. It comes with a generic framing blade but we put a better blade on immediately but we'll use the other for ripping plywood. My table was flat but the throat plate does set below the table top but shouldn't be a problem. Time will tell if the fence will hold up because there is a lot more plastic than on my older Dewalt table saw that died last week after 22 years. Some other lower reviews talked about other items that need to be added. They've done a pretty good job of designing this and it's expensive to change once a design goes into production. Could they change some things? Sure but as long as it does it's basic job it's great for us. You can't please everyone and if you need to add something, create it for your own use unless it's part of the product. For instance, if you need dust extraction to start your vacuum then add a secondary switch and/or outlet. We don't use ours inside or where we need dust extraction. For MDF inside we do use our shop vac but turning it on before the saw is not a show stopper but our shop saw has it permanently installed. For an extension table, I'm going to build one using the Rousseau 48-Inch Folding Outfeed Table. I've seen other review sites say that this saw is loud and they couldn't talk when it was on. Really? You should be wearing ear protection using any saw that should limit what you can hear while the tool is running.

Can you cut a sheet of plywood directly in half? I see rip capacity of 22 inches seems to me you would need 24. But I'm a landscaper trying to do some around the house jobs like building a shed and possibly a garage.
    Lawrence F on May 20, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it has an extended range up to 32 inches, once you move the fence to the 2nd mounting position. It's pretty easy, no tools necessary and you can move the fence back to position 1 when done.
So, I've seen where people say you can't use a Dado stack with this, yet it's specs at 13/16th max. Can a Dado set be used or not?

can you use a dado blade on this Tablesaw??
    ja g on Feb 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes. This saw will accept a dado blade but does not include the required throat plate. You will have to purchase separate or make your own.
What is the flip over fence ???
    Mac M on Jun 27, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The back of the fence is movable and will actually flip over to the fence side and allow for a material rest for rips that are wider than the actual table. It will also adjust to rest on the saw table so that small rips can be made while still using the guard. Hopefully this helps.

What's the distance between the front edge of the table and the front tip of the saw?
    phineas on Mar 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If your talking about the front edge of the saw and the measurement to the front of the fence it is 2 1/2" when the fence is on. 3 1/4" from the table to the knob that guides the fence. Hopefully that answers your question.

    New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
    • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
    • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
    • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 120 days.
