I love DEWALT tools and have/use tons of their tools. So now I'm in roofing full time and really wanted to stay with the brand but unfortunately can't. Bought 3 guns and put to use two the same day. First 10-12 roofs was the best experience ever with the roofing guns period!!! But then they start to jam nails, then not drive some nails all in, then more often driving half way in nails and more jams. Today it was just horrible. Yes, we roof in 24-28F and have 4 bostitch guns, 3 super roofer Max guns and 1 dewalt. All use the same air, all use the same houses and dewalt just stop and jams the gun after 40-50 min use (bostitch and super roofer max are going slower then usual but going. I put the gun in the truck, let it warm up and clean it just in case. After maybe 30 min it's not working again. Bostitch and Super roofer guns are still going without breaks, cleaning or warm up time. Returned my third gun today and after I find my receipt for other two they are going back to Home Depot as well.

Overall a decent gun. Very seldom jams.however it has a tendency to double tap very often. The second nail. always goes in halfway which means I have to stop and either pull the nail or drive it in.this kills any time I may save by using the gun. Would not recommend this gun to anyone in a hurry.
