Not made in USA like published
I bought this drill based on the claim that it was made in the USA. The box says made in Mexico and also claims accessories can be from China

Tough as they come!
I purchased this drill primarily to bore holes in 6-9" dia. black locust poles for the hop yard. With a new drill bit, this beast easily went through this tough wood without any drag or bogging down. Best part is I can now use the drill to power my grain mill for the brewery!

Great replacement! This unit is powerful
My 30 year old DW100 drill finally bit the dust, and this is what I got to replace it. I hope it lasts as long as my old Dewalt.

Hard to beat a quality corded drill like this.
This drill is my go to for long auger bits, aggressive self feed bits, large hole saws and drilling heavy gauge steel. This is not one of those bargain center throw aways this is an actual tool that you can depend on to work year after year

Ok for the money
Tool lasted about a year on a factory floor used alot through the day drilling through steel chassis. Armature shorted out and burned the brush spring so catastrophic failure. It took alot of abuse lol
Would make a good drill for garage use or light construction.

Great drill, but watch powerful
I have owned this drill for 15 years and it's indestructible. Most powerful drill I ever owned and it will never quit.

I've had 2 Dewalt drills this one and another 1/2" hammer drill. the hammer drill bled oil from it and the chuck stripped out within a year making it useless, as another poster who reviewed this product i too have had the drill chuck mounting screw break within a year. i truly like Dewalt tools but as far as drills are concerned ....I'd stay away.

Fantastic Drill
Variable Speed and Movable Handle allow me to use both hands. Change position when drilling vertical and horizontal. Purchased a small duffle to hold drill. Perfect combination.
