Also used on DCD780 drill on various projects until drained and lasted just as long as reg bat without charging. Used with DCF885 to stir paint, mud, cut holes in drywall, etc without issues or reduction in charge time. Used DCS391 (cric saw), DCS 380 (Recip saw), and DCS355 (oscillating tool,) for various cutting associated with installing hardwood floors, framing and drywall installation, deck building compact bat worked great with all of them weighing much less than reg bat helped alot with longer projects reduced overall stress and just easier to work with. Even used the DCN682 (flooring staple gun) while installing hardwood flooring in several rooms and it worked great and made it much easier to handle as normally use a 60v battery. I didn't get specifics on exact times for the DCN682 as projects had a timeline but was at least as long as normal 20v bat.
Overall the DCB 230 batteries are another quality product as per usual with DeWalt. I just do not like the form factor because I prefer the belt clips over everything. it is a bummer mainly because I own just about every DeWalt tool they make and I am extremely happy with everything except for these batteries it would honestly be easier to list the DeWalt tools I do not have rather than the ones I do have as it would be a shorter list.
I would really enjoy the opportunity to trade these batteries in for something that works better for me such as the DCB 205 or possibly the DCB 206 it’s just a shame to have such quality batteries just collecting dust on the shelf because I can’t use them with the current belt clips or maybe they could redesign the clips.
