All this and more
I love this thing. I was putting together my new shed and found this item. We have just moved from the city and after 1 winter we know we need as much redundant power as possible. Since I was buying the tools and batteries anyway I figured this would work great in the house and it does. Time Depends on the batteries, have to keep that in mind. I have 5ah at this time. Ran lights, kept the wifi up the outage was only 7 or 8 hours but it helped out great. Oh and I love the USB adaptor that snaps on the batteries, you guys need to market that item, still more uses for this set of tools.

Quiet.. unnoticeable
It works great with a vacuum and chipping hammers. I have mainly used it to power a KRK monitor for job site music or even at the park or beach. It could benefit from a pure sine wave inverter but could up the cost and affect efficiency in some way. Overall it bumps music all day and is what I wanted it for. If you plan on using this off grid as a backup power supply it’d better be for something small as this unit will only supply 720 watt hours of energy with four 9 amp hour batteries. Parallel charging at 3 amp hours means the 9 amp hour batteries take three hours to fully charge from flat.

Not all
I recently purchased this from cpo. I do like it. Upon arrival I ran my chop saw with it to just to try it out. It ran the vac and my grinder. So why only three stars. It did not run my festool tracksaw. I had four charged batteries in it. So it will run most items, but not all.

Very good
This is a great tool! During the workday it keeps all of my batteries up and going while I work, and if I need to plug-in the odd corded tool then I can.

Dewalt power station
Just the thing for me to use with my power garden equipment in my back acre, without having to drag several extension cords 300 feet. I am very happy with this unit. It’s a dream come true.

Game changer & charger ;)
Just the fact that this is a 4 battery parallel charger is great. I keep this in my garage as my charger for all by batteries and I love it for that alone. BUT the flexibility this gives you to make all your tools "cordless" is amazing. I have had a chance to use this a few times.

First, I had an electrician out working on my service so I used the Power Station in my house to plug in my internet modem and router so i didn't lose connection when the electrician was working. If i used a gas generator i would have needed a 20' extension order an had to deal with all of that.

Later I used this to power my submersible pump when was servicing my tankless water heater. There wasn't and outlet around so having this just made the job fast and simple.

Lastly, i used this with my Hitachi 12" 15A miter just to test the power output of the Power Station. The Power Station has rated to 15A so I thought it would be good to test it at max capacity. It worked great. I was cutting some boards for my fence including some 4x4s and some 4x1 planks. The saw worked identically to when it was plugged in. Never bogged down or anything. I had 4 of the 20V 5 Ah batteries in it when it tested it. After i did my cuts for the fence, i was curious on how long it would power the miter saw so i put a zip tie around the trigger and let it run while i worked on the fence. it ran for another 25 minutes. The saw wasn't under load for that 25 minutes but it was still impressive given i had already used it to make about 50 cuts already.

Bottom line this thing is amazing and worth every penny!!! With it you always know you can have power for your corded tools and lights.
powering my pump. this was after the 30 minutes of running the pump and i was flushing the twh.

Can this generator power a home?
A shopper on Dec 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The power station is designed to power a single item at a time. Attempting to power an entire house would most likely exceed the rated amperage of the unit, as well as severely limit the battery run time.
Does regular dewalt batteries work for this?
A shopper on Aug 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The powerstation will work with Dewalt 20v and/or 60v batteries only
Could it power a built in electric air mattress pump?
A shopper on Jul 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: As long as the pump is rated at 15 amps or less, then there should be no problem with using the power station to operate the pump for the short term.
Is this platform snap able to t Stak or tough system boxes...?
Flash on Sep 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It works with the tough system boxes great, but it has to be the top item.
Will this power station work with 18 volt batteries?
Ctrus5 on Jun 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, This unit is only for 20 volt batteries.
Will this keep my 2200W fridge going during power outage?
A shopper on Nov 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It’s rated for 1800 Watts or less. It would run a smaller refrigerator. Lights, fans, even a microwave that is less than 1800 Watts. I use it camping & on the construction site where it runs a 12” Chop saw all day.
what is watt output when 4, 60 volt flexvolt batteries are in powerstation ?
A shopper on Nov 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The wattage output of the station will not vary between the different batteries that can be used, as they all connect to the station at 18v nominal input. Only the run time will change due to the size of the batteries used, and this is limited by the smallest battery in any grouping used. So, the watt output is whatever is stated in the manual for the power station.
How long will it last if you run a 1500 watt heater?
