Nice grinder with no spanner wrench
I needed something to cut up a Hughes net satellite dish. DeWalt has a good reputation and I have used their tools before so I decided to purchase this angle grinder to do the job. When I unboxed the tool I found that it had no spanner wrench to install the cut off disk but it did come with a completely useless 6 mm Allen wrench. I wasted $13 on a Milwaukee spanner (It was the only one available so I could use this tool. Once I was able to get the disk put on It did the job well. The grinder is light white but very powerful. The only reason I did not write this a five star is because of the missing wrench.

Did well and I put it through a lot. I like how it doesn't have the paddle trigger too.

Unable to use it
I bought this tool to cut small metal pieces....only to find it had no shroud for that. Then I ordered a Type 1 guard, specifically referencing the model type....only to get a guard that did not fit. I called DeWALT to find out where I could get the right one....and didn't get a reply. I used to have a good experience with this brand, but things have changed.

Can not use it
Why? Because it not only does not come with a Type 1 guard for cut-off wheels, but it seems nearly impossible to figure out how to buy the correct type 1 guard. It's not listed here in related products, where it belongs, but not listed in the accessory sect, or the parts section. At least not that I can ascertain, and I was a auto parts man for nearly thirty years.

Good little grinder
I’ve had this grinder for about 3 years and it has done everything I asked it to. I absolutely put it to some extreme use (that you really shouldn’t do with a 7amp grinder and it took it like a champ. It finally died, but I honestly can say that it was not the fault of this grinder. I pushed it hard. Just upgraded to the 4214 with more Amps, but will likely buy another 4011 due to the weight and size.

Maybe ok for consumer grade, once a month use.
We started purchasing these for a weld shop, not as our primary grinders but something just for sanding discs. We use pneumatic and 9" grinders for all the heavy use. I work maintenance so I have repaired hundreds of grinders over the years. Within 2 days of these hitting the shop floor they have had issues with the armatures shorting out. I have several sitting on my bench that are worthless right now. It is a short on the commutator between different segments so this is caused by the winding on the armature having poor grade of insulation, degrading with the heat from use and then shorting out. Only resolution is to buy new armature, but the price is prohibitive, especially for one that is most likely the same quality.

Good grinder.
Not much to say about this grinder other than it works well, made in the USA and at a good price. The one touch guard is a great feature. This little guy works well all day and it doesn't lack on power.

Great tool, accessories not so much.
I just purchased and really like the DWE402 angle grinder, but it does not come with a pin spanner wrench. It does come with a long legged 1/4" (or some godless communist metric size Allen type wrench. The wrench doesn't appear to fit anything on the tool I would need to be messing with. Kinda reeks of Title IX/EEO/AA incompetence forced on American companies these days.
