Very good corded drill
In the day and age of ever improving and increasing options of cordless tools, there are still times when you need the added run time and power of a corded drill and this one delivers perfectly. its small enough and light enough that you won't think twice to grab for a small job when you cordless batteries aren't charged, and it has enogh power that you'll turn to it for bigger jobs.

Just what I was looking for
I was looking for a replacement for my 3/8 corded drill that I have had for 30 years (parts no longer available). The specific DeWalt drill I purchased definitely fills the bill.

Holds Up and Tons of Power
I have had this for a while now and figured I would leave a quick review. I bought this for drilling I-Beams when I was finishing my basement. It quickly replaced my cordless drills because it goes through anything without a hitch. I have found the chuck to sometimes come lose if you aren't really sure its fixed in, but with just that extra second of precaution its never an issue. I still use a variable speed setting drill for finer woodwork, but for most everything else this works fine for me.

More of a specialty drill
I’ve had this drill (or the previous iteration of it for the past 4 years and I find it great for using in my shop to bore and countersink. I don’t really use drivers with because I find the variable trigger a little finicky. But it is a very nice, quiet, effective, durable drill to always have bits ready to go.

Too heavy!
I started using this new drill today and found it too heavy, also a lot of energy is used to depress the speed key, hand and finger get worn out. I would like to see a "set" button so that don't have to keep depressing the speed key,.

Chuck is garbage.
Bought this from Lowe’s for a project. Bumped the head of the chuck a few times. Nothing new for a drill. The chrome cap on the head of the chuck fell off!!! Apparently it is just a press on cap. Without it, the whole chuck fell apart. Stay away, it is not worth the money.

Dewalt VSR Dro;; DWD112
I recently purchased the DWD112 from a local hardware store. The box indicated a contractors bag was included. However, the box did not contain a bag. The retailer informed me the unit was a dwd112 not a dwd112 kit unit and no bag was included. I sent an email to Dewalt advising them the dewalt box indicated a contractors bag was included but was not in the box. They sent me a very nice bag. Great service by dewalt.
