Fits in tight nooks and crannies
This easily fit into the 2 inch gap between my kitchen sink and fascia of the wooden cabinets. Worked best under lower RPMs. Quicker speeds tended to overspin. Removing the bit is not as intuitive you would think. Make sure to view the website picture and have a hairpin handy. I wish I bought it sooner for other hard to reach projects.

I find myself relying on this till quite regularly. Works well for those hard to get places that a normal bit in a driver can’t go.

Works well for my needs
I've used this for various projects around the house. That includes some woodworking, and we used it to service my furnace too (needed to get into a tight spot).

I haven't had any issues but I guess the one thing that can be difficult is the size of the bit needed to sometimes reach the screws. Shorter bits seem to have a hard time grabbing when using this.

Needs improvement
I work in an fast paced production / fabrication facility and we use dewalt products daily. Cordless impacts and drills and have to assemble products constantly and have to be able to get into very tight spaces and corners where a standard size drill or impact will not fit so the necessity of a 90 degree attachment is a must I like dewalt products a lot but there is one key factor that comes into play that is very important to me and others ( Durability
I have an DWARA 100 that I have had for 2 weeks and probably installed at least a hundred screws with it and then it just stripped the ring and pinion gears inside . if the durability of a product is questionable then I feel a proper warranty should be put in place for the product to compensate or have it assessed and corrected because tools like this are of high priority in certain fields of work cant do the job without it.

Keep one in your toolbox!
Bought a DeWalt angle adapter a while back for repairs in the confined space of a kitchen cabinet. It worked like a charm for both drilling holes and installing screws. Sooner or later you're going to need one of these. Handy.

Works well for screws. Not IMPACT READY!
Mine broke after a few months, just outside of the 90 day warranty. Used it with a Dewalt Impact Driver so I expected it to be able to hold up since it's advertised as IMPACT READY! Wish Dewalt made a Heavy Duty Right Angle Attachment with higher quality gears and a handle like another brand makes.

Works fine
The problem I found is that if you use it to drill holes facing down the drill bit falls out, lost a few in wall cavities. Didn’t have that problem with the Snap On I was replacing

Just what I needed
Just the right size to get between windshield and dash to drill a small mounting hole. Glad I found this 90 degree adapter.

I need to bore 3/4 inch holes through wall studs for plumbing, Will this do the trick?
Jack C on May 1, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Sure. It will connect to the shank of any common spade bit like an Irwin. Kind of replaces the need for a right angle drill. I have used mine several times without breaking it.
how do you get it to lock when i push the bit of the holesaw to the wood it's like the gears disengage?
