    Great compressor
My unit broke down, had my eye on a DeWalt ... waited till I’m sale, bought this unit, happy I did. Does all I need it to do!

Due to having a fairly compact vertical tank, It doesn't take up much room in my shop. It provides more than enough air for working on my vehicles and lawn mowers. The weight of it makes it very sturdy, yet it is light enough to take to work sites away from home without hassle. i can load it on my trailer easily by myself and with a helper it goes in the bed of a pickup with ease. again, taking up minimal space. This compressor is a winner.

I immediately heard air escape and knew what happened. Surely there is a bright engineer at Dewalt that could come up with a better design.

Had this unit for five years now and it’s still going strong. The only part I have had to replace is the spring valve in the air adjustment valve. I take the blame for that. Wasn’t draining the moisture out of the tank as often as I should have. Do not use this unit on cheap extension cords. If you do you will pay the price(experience talking). PS: I created a very small air leak at the hose connector so the unit will kick on two or three times in a 24 hour period whether I used it or not. Lack of use and low voltage will bring an early death for even a quality compressor.

Outstanding compressor for homeowners and DYI
I've had this compressor over a year and love it. It's perfect for homeowner DIY and auto repair/garage work. It's quiet, about half the volume of my little pancake compressor. Refills quickly, and gives plenty of air to run impact wrench, nail guns and anything else I can throw at it. I use it all the time.

I have had this compressor for about a year. I've used it less than 20 times. Since buying this compressor, I have had to replace the belt and now the power switch ahs stopped working so I have to unplug the unit to stop the motor (very unsafe. I just want to add that when changing the belt you have to remove the piston from the unit. To do this, you have to have an impact to remove the large bolt due to the piston moving if you try to remove it with a wrench. What good is an impact without air to run it?!?! I do not recommend this product. There are plenty of other brands that will hold up a lot longer for a lot less money.

    Quality Product
Size and volume is perfect for my needs. I make furniture for my family and have a small (7'X17')shop. fits in the corner and can reach everything easily. I use it to clean the area as well as grinding and sanding tools. Regenerates the tank very quickly as well as lasting a long time with tool use.
