Great size (Small, compared to some of the newer models out there now) powerful. I will be using it for mostly hand-held work, like making dove-tails. Really like the soft-start and build in speed control. It is very well made, reminds me of my first router which is now about 40 years old and still going strong. I want to add the centering ring,dust port, and round sub-base. May even get the plunge base and dust ring for that as well. This is my third DeWalt product and I am very pleased with all of them.
My next DeWalt product may be the 2 1/4 router with fixed and plunge base.

I bought one because the ad looked good and I repect DeWalt. After receiving it and trying it, I decided that I want two of them to use in tandom for rough and finish cuts without having to adjust between the two...just set and switch routers for repetitive projects. Bought the second one with plunge router base to expand possibilities. Nice units.
