Great radio / charger combo
Replaced old Milwaukee radio that just didn't want to get any local am/fm stations. This DeWalt radio actually works quite well. Good sound. Moving the antenna actually improves reception! Only odd thing was a bad battery for remembering stations/clock was in the radio. Would have thought no battery or a new one. Like $2 to fix. It's great this charges tool batteries and has 3-outlets on the side.

What battery does the radio use?
BEST ANSWER: It runs off Dewalt batteries. I have a m 18V battery pack and it lasts about an hour. It will charge the battery when the radio is plugged in.
