    nice saw cpl drawbacks
bought it about a month ago . seems nice good power compact for my small shop . cuts nice blade arbor seem to run true. not much adjusting to get it true to square. big disappointment this say cannot use a dado set . almost returned for that reason. but other features are nice enough. also the riv knife was out of square . adjusting nuts seem a odd size cannot adjust the knife properly had to bend it by hand to get it to run true with blade. overall the rest of the saw ran true to center by checking with a square.

    Impressive quality for the money.
Great saw! Light weight and easy to use. Powerful motor and in my opinion as good as a Delta contractor saw.

    Awesome Worksaw!
I have a large 10" General International saw in my shop but needed a smaller worksite saw. Did research and the Dewalt DWE7480 seemed rather impressive. After some touchy feely browsing in various stores, I decided to buy one from Lowe's on a great deal. It is better than expected! Bought the Dewalt stand also which was another great idea! Just finished using the saw for some trim related ripping and it was great! Now can't wait for the next project! Oh yes...I endorse this saw!

Dado stack option. I've gotten by without it, using a crosscut sled or Tenoning Jig to make tenons with a single blade, its tedious, time consuming and with each additional cut used, it increases the danger to the user and the likelihood of making a mistake. Other than that... its the best table saw I've seen for the price range.
When you start to build in the dado stack arbor, can you please set up an aftermarket option

The upgraded blade rpm does some great work ripping LVLs and treated boards. Even with the standard blade it still makes super smooth cuts. The only thing i am questionable about is the direct drive, but have experienced good things so far.

Bought it 2.5 years ago. Used it for various small projects. As I started using it more, I started understanding the limitations. When I bought it did not know anything about table saws. Couple of things that limit my work with this table saw:

    - Small in-feed. Makes it difficult to rip long boards. Some sort of accessory that would fit the saw would have done the trick. Same is true for side support (left/right). Out-feed can be easily handled with roller stand.

    - Biggest drawback - no dado blade can be used: First time I thought I will use a dado blade, realized arbor is too small. This is a big thing, if you use it for any hobby work. Tenons, rabbets, box joint etc. become difficult. If I would have knows this I would have not bought the saw.

Anyway, this saw does 75% of what I need. I use router or alternate methods for stuff I cannot do with this saw.

Not new to table saws, but new to owning one, purchased after reading positive reviews, and happy that I did so. The saw is excellent; the only concern I have is that for someone who is new to the saw, it is a bit difficult to set up and quite difficult to understand the diagrams in the otherwise excellent manual. I finally figured out how to attach the blade guard, but I still can't figure out how to move the riving blade when making small dado cuts, how to flip the rip fence over to the extended position, nor how to take the anti-kickback teeth out of their storage to attach to the riving fence. Even seeing you-tube videos has not helped. All of that said, the saw appears to be excellent quality (although I wish it were made here instead of in China and I look forward to many years of enjoyment as my woodworking skills increase.

    New Vs. Reconditioned

What's the difference between New and Factory-Reconditioned?

Factory-Reconditioned products have been returned to the manufacturer and are restored to like-new operating condition; they go through a rigorous testing and inspection process. Plus, they offer a significant savings vs. new.
    • Reconditioned products may have minor cosmetic blemishes or scratches that do not affect item performance.
    • Reconditioned products may not come with all of the consumables the new version comes with (bits, sanding pads/papers, cases, etc.).
    • Both come with a manufacturer warranty and are covered by our Money Back Guarantee; New is 30 days, Reconditioned is 120 days.
