Holds Up and Tons of Power
I have had this for a while now and figured I would leave a quick review. I bought this for drilling I-Beams when I was finishing my basement. It quickly replaced my cordless drills because it goes through anything without a hitch. I have found the chuck to sometimes come lose if you aren't really sure its fixed in, but with just that extra second of precaution its never an issue. I still use a variable speed setting drill for finer woodwork, but for most everything else this works fine for me.

I don’t really use drivers with because I find the variable trigger a little finicky. But it is a very nice, quiet, effective, durable drill to always have bits ready to go.

Bought this from Lowe’s for a project. Bumped the head of the chuck a few times. Nothing new for a drill. The chrome cap on the head of the chuck fell off!!! Apparently it is just a press on cap. Without it, the whole chuck fell apart. Stay away, it is not worth the money.

I recently purchased the DWD112 from a local hardware store. The box indicated a contractors bag was included. However, the box did not contain a bag. The retailer informed me the unit was a dwd112 not a dwd112 kit unit and no bag was included. I sent an email to Dewalt advising them the dewalt box indicated a contractors bag was included but was not in the box. They sent me a very nice bag. Great service by dewalt.
