Great saw!
This works just as good as 120 volt plug in saws within the hassle of tangled cords or coming unplugged when on top of a ladder.

Great Power
Bought this tool cause needed if for a pruning job since didn't really need my chainsaw for a few thick wild bushes that a customer wanted taking out. The saw worked great and the battery lasted the 2hrs that I needed it for and then some.

Rips through like a knife and hot butter
As a plumber, the hardest thing I cut is cast iron and this thing helps rip right through it. No matter new or old pipe, the combo of this tool and 60v battery stands up the test of time. I have recommended to all my friends in any trade.

This recip saw is powerful.
First of I love this saw, I swear it is the most powerful recip saw I've used hands down. That being said I'm a little disappointed that the shoe isn't adjustable and why doesn't this unit have four positions for the blade like my older 18v unit??? Other than those gripes, this is the most powerful recip saw I've used corded or cordless. I was doing some frame work on my SUV and had to cut a few brackets of the frame in a place my grinder would not fit flush to how I needed and wanted to cut. I tried this saw in it place, cut threw the welds and metal brackets with extreme ease. I put as much force on this saw as I could and it never slowed down. The welds ate a few metal cutting reciep saw blades, but it was a perfect cut and the saw impressed me a lot. For the few things it lacks, it makes up for with raw unstoppable power.

My older 20v sawzall bit the dust so I grabbed this unit. I already have few Flexvlot tools so getting this was a no brainer. This saw has a ton of power but is heavy. Keep in mind, while you can use the Flexvolt batteries in other 20v tools, this saw will only take the Flexvolt batteries. I love it so far.

I bought the 60v sawzall when my 20v had enough. The 60v has more power then a corded saw. My only issue is it spits blades quite often.

Will this run on a 20 volt battery?
larry r on Jul 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No. The 60v Cordless Reciprocating Saw is designed so it will not accept 20v batteries. However, the 60v battery will install on 20v equipment and will auto shift to 20v power.
Are you able to insert the blade horizontal and vertical into the chuck like the 20v models?
A shopper on Nov 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Just received this new saw in the mail today. The answer to this question is NO. For some reason Dewalt has disabled this feature. The blade can only be inserted vertically. Horizontal is not an option.
