No run time!
This battery lasts less the 15 minutes when mowing my lawn. It’s horrible!

Love the mower..... But not the Battery Life
I read many reviews, so i was not surprised with what I was buying. I have no clue how Dewalt rated this a up to an 1/4 acre or run time, this felt a little misleading on Dewalts part (and I have never said anything bad about DeWalt before now). I have a lot smaller than that and can not finish with one battery. I think the 7.5 amp battery should be standard in the kit for the mower. With that being said I love the way it cuts, the noise level, how easy it is to push, and the way it fold up for storage.

Lasted only 1 Hour
Worked for 1 hour then stopped abruptly. Turns out the belt that drives the blade pulley slipped off because the plastic pulley started to disintegrate. Belt is fine but pulley edge is chewed up and ragged. Part is plastic... should be aluminum.

Love Dewalt - But Not This Thing
I bought the 40V mower today. I thought it would be a good addition to the Dewalt battery powered blower and battery powered trimmer. With 3, 4amp hour batteries and the 6 amp hour battery that comes with the mower I couldn't finish 1/2 of my small, front yard. You'll need 4 to 5 7.5 amp hour batteries with a charger for each to make this useable. So if I spend another $1,100 on batteries I might have a mower I can use. Not happy

Lawn Mower
I bought this a month ago its very easy to run but my biggest problem is the battery i only get about 20 minutes if that on a full charged battery . So i decided to order another battery as a back up well the cost was almost more the the lawn mower and i still haven't received it in the mail . It takes me a long time to finish mowing due to the fact that i have to keep charging the battery.

Extremely low battery life
I thought I was getting a great mower when I selected this one. I liked the features with grass bag n it had a mulcher. I don’t have a lot of grass to mow just some sectioned areas around the house and backyard. I can’t even get one part of my property finished before the battery goes dead. It takes hours to recharge the battery. I charged it twice today and couldn’t even finish the front of my house. this mower is making me constantly have to mow every day. By the time I get it all done in a few days I have to start over again since I can only do sections at a time. I do not recommend this mower at all and I’m very sorry I purchased it

Makes me want to mow all the time!
As a 20V Max fan (have 2 string trimmers, blower, drill, and chain saw so far plus 3 chargers and 8 batteries I was stoked to see this mower advertised and pre-ordered immediately. With multiple batteries and chargers I can essentially mow non-stop and find the mower light to maneuver, easy to push, quiet, clean, efficient, and love how it folds to store so that it takes up less storage space. Works just like a Dewalt product should ... stick in the batteries and key, push the button and squeeze the handle and off you go! Many thanks from a lady landscaper who hate fiddling with gas/oil engine products and all the mess and grime and effort pulling and pulling and pulling to start (if you are lucky).

Great but doesn't last very long
I've used the mower twice. The first time, I got 20 minutes out of the battery. The second time I got 18 minutes out of it before the mower quit. Each time the battery had a full charge. This is my first mower, and to be honest I expected at least a half hour of use. It's incredibly simple to use, and cuts very well.
