Very well though!
I bought this last week. Used it for the first time with my dewalt flexvolt 9.0ah batteries and it worked great! I read many reviews saying stock battery last very short time but having the multi battery charger and owning many batteries already it wasn’t bad. I did all my front and back yard in one charge no problem. It’s very smooth, it’s not as loud as gas lawn mower and very light and easy to store away! I’m very OCD and I love how I can fold it and put it against my wall to take less space. It was great that my flexvolt battery’s were compatible with this machine! Looking forward to purchasing more of dewalts innovative tech!

Disappointed in battery
I've used a battery operated mower for years with no issues. This mower is easy to use and great in every way except for the battery. Lasts 20 minutes tops, when you add in charging time it usually takes me 2 days to mow, when I could previously mow my lawn in 30 minutes. Very disappointed.

On my second mower and it is broken
I have just gotten my second mower and each time I am able to mow my tiny lawn until the end and then the blades just stop turning. I have no idea why. I dont have anything hard in my lawn. It is just grass. I used the first mower one time, took it back got a new one and the exact same thing happened. WHAT IS GOING ON?????

Great power, easy mower height adjustment. Easy out of the box set up with minimal effort. Battery life seems to be okay. Perfect for my smaller yard. Love that it matches my stable of DeWalt power tools!

Disappointed Purchase
I was disappointed about the lawn mower. I waited for about 4 months for the lawn mower to be released and I even paid in advance for the lawn mower hoping that the satisfaction will worth the wait.

1. For the 2x 20 lawn mower - The lawn mower is expected to use two batteries at thesame time. Although it came with two batteries, they only included one charger.
This is what it means - if you are cutting and ran out of battery power, you have to wait and charge the battery one after the other before you can continue using the lawn mower. I expected the company to put two chargers.
2. The fully charged batteries do not last long enough to cut the front and the backyard which is less than 1/4 of an acre. In most cases, I have to cut the front and wait to charge the batteries and cut the backyard the next day.
3. I gave the lawn mover 2 starts because of the quality.
4. Think twice before you investing your money on this product.

So little lawn so many batteries.
I have a half acre of lawn. Initially purchased 2 extra flex volts just to have around. Found out that I need two more to just cut my fourth acre in the front of my house. 6 batteries for 1/4 acre does not make sense when it says the 2 it came with should be sufficient.

Needs at Least 12Ah to be useful
I love this mower. The height adjustment is excellent. The mulching is perfect but the batteries simply do not give enough runtime.
My yard is 5000 sq ft and I'll get through just over half before I'll have to recharge.
Wait until DeWalt does the right thing and gives the 12Ah batteries in this mower for this price. As it is it's too much money for not enough mower.

Mows great when it runs
I was truly excited and waited in anticipation to get this mower. There is a ton of yellow and black in my garage from tool chest, drills, sanders, routers, drills, drivers, hedge trimmer, edger. I love all my desalt tools. my expectations were met with this mower from the start. The design and that way you could adjust the deck and easy start, the easy storage . My excitement turned to dismay when I started my first true use as the battery lasted maybe 20 minutes before you need it charged. most the time I have to spend two or three days mowing just to completely mow the whole yard and isn’t that large of a lot. I am very disappointed in the battery life that you get from a full charge. They should have provided a higher capacity battery or some other what a make sure that the charge last long enough to mow at least a small yard

Great little mower
I have over an acre of property so I do a majority of my cutting with a riding lawn mower, however I still use a push mower for the Dutch and about 1/4 of an acre of property that a riding lawn mower can't get to.

I have several DeWalt tools so I used 2x 5 amp batteries I had and was able to cut the lawn with 1 bar on each battery left.

I used the batteries that the mower came with the second time and wasn't able to get the same results. So I am not sure if the batteries have in a break in period as both times I used the same amp hour batteries.

3rd time I used 2 of my 60v batteries and had 2 bars left.

Mower is easy to store, lighter than my old gas push mower and can be folded up and stored on its end. The metal deck is a bonus as well.
