Much smaller 3 AH battery
i really like the new and improved 3 amp hour batteries. I bought a combo kit a few years ago and it included the old 3 amp hour batteries which are the same size as my new 5 AH batteries. These ones are the same same size as my old 1.5 AH ones. the base is a bit wider than the 1.5 AH but it is seemingly just as short. The performance seems equal to my old battery as well so i'm a fan.

So far mine work well
I got these batteries in a two pack and I bought the kit with charger that also came with a tool of your choice during a promo and mine work fine. They are a bulky battery as far as length and width but are thinner and lighter. I just use mine with the impact wrenches that I own and the reciprocating saw that I got in the promo. I don’t know about the longevity of durability because I haven’t had to recharge them much yet.

Poor battery durablity
Been through three on these batteries in 18 months. Will not take a charge. Tried multiple chargers. Latest one stopped charging this past weekend off of a DCS355B oscillating tool. Battery marked 02/2018. Bought a 6AH for $149 yesterday, not a happy camper.
