Good saw mediocre motor
Bought this to tile two small bathroom floors and one shower. Overall construction is good, and it does a good job. My concern is with the motor. I have almost finished tiling, and the motor is overheating and it has that burning electrical smell telling me that something is amiss..... I see this is a universal motor with brushes. An induction motor would be better, but that will cost a lot more so although I am not thrilled about it, it isn’t too bad. It is loud and you need to wear goggles and ear protection, but that is normal for any tile saw. Overall construction and design is pretty solid. It doesn’t compare to say a husqua varna, but it is miles above a harbor freight, Lowe’s or Home Depot saw in my opinion.

The warranty coverage appears to be very good (3 year), so
I will be taking it to the local service center to get it fixed.

Well made!
Whoever says a tile saw is a tile saw obviously has never used the Dewalt tile saw! The cuts are perfect and strait and virtually no chipped edges.

Great saw/great job
Tired of playing games with a substandard tiles saw. Shopped around and looked at a lot of products. Many reviews stated "I should have bought the DeWalt" I finally pulled the trigger and I'm glad I did. My sons used the saw and commented on how much better it is than the old table saw I was using. A little bit of to set up. Easy to take down afterwards to clean. I especially like the removable plastic trays below the sliding table. They are keyholed and held in place with allen bolts. All you do is squeeze one end slightly and pull forward and the tray comes off. All the debris that accumulates in there doesn't go into the water tray for the pump to suck up. All the reviews I looked at didn't mention this but I think it is a great idea and they made it so easy to service when you slide off the table.

To many parts
Nice saw, works great, cuts straight with no laser. Saw has to many parts to put together and no wheels to carry it all.
If it had wheels it'd be way better.

Amazing saw
I purchased this saw a few months ago to tile my condo. I had never tiled in my life before, however, after watching countless YouTube videos and using this saw, I can say with certainty that I now consider myself "a natural born tiler". Prior to Dewalt saw, I was ruining every other tile using a cheap, inferior saw. This saw is worth every penny!

I bought this tile saw like a month ago I used once and it's powerful and easy to use the problem is the blade wobble now I have to spend another 100$ on the new blade. It's ridiculous to have this kind of problem with new saw!!!

Wet/dry tile saw
Bought this to replace Lowe's Cobalt with folding sand and Lazer. There's were garbage construction. DeWalt is lightweight enough to lift onto stand, cleans great, etc. But for the. Money they should be building with a Lazer!!! Great saw!

Still Love It (for over a decade)!!
I have had this wet saw for over a decade and it still works great! Until this year, I haven't had to replace a single part. I am a remodeling contracting, specializing in tile installation (especially custom projects with plenty of cuts w/porcelain tile. The only parts I am just now replacing are the brushes were very inexpensive.

The saw has stood up to multiple workers, tons of take down, transportation, and set up, freezing temperatures, getting rained on multiple times in the back of my truck, snowed on, etc. and has still worked great every time.

I've used plenty of other wet saws and I'm still completely satisfied with this one. I highly recommend it. Its tough, portable, accurate, and the water spray control features work well enough that my clients don't mind if I set up right in the house which saves several hours over the course of every tile job.

Is there excessive table play? Are there any owners who previously owned an MK Diamond 101 Pro? If so, how does this saw compare?
Rob B on Jan 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have been using the Dewalt D24000S on 2 bathrooms. The table is smooth and very accurate. I have an MK Diamond and it is not as nice as the Dewalt.
The blade that came with the saw did not hold up - replaced it with a Rigid blade and cuts great. Saw has nice features, so far very pleased.
Can you use a bull nose blade on this product? Which blade would you recommend for cutting porcelain?
SF2850 on Dec 12, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This saw will accept any blade that has an arbor size of 5/8-in and is a 10-in blade. For cutting porcelain, this saw comes with the 10-in porcelain cutting blade. We do reccomend that if you need a replacement, to get the porcelain cutting blade as a replacement.
